1. Introduction
ChurchGrids (“we” “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your organization and
its members. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information
through the ChurchGrids mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices
described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When using the ChurchGrids App, your organization may input and manage the following types
of information:
• Contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers
• Physical addresses and demographic information
• Notes, activity logs, and ministry engagement records
• SMS message history and communication records
• Staff and volunteer account credentials
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect certain information when you use the App, including:
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Log data including access times and features used
• IP address and general location data
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics
2.3 SMS & Messaging Data
When you use A2P SMS features, we collect and process message content, delivery status,
opt-in and opt-out records, and message timestamps. This data is retained to ensure
compliance with carrier regulations and TCPA requirements.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
• Provide and operate the ChurchGrids CRM and messaging platform
• Process and deliver SMS messages to opted-in recipients
• Maintain accurate contact records and activity histories
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Improve the App & features and performance
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and carrier regulations
• Send platform-related notifications and service updates
4. SMS Opt-In & Opt-Out
ChurchGrids processes SMS communications only to individuals who have explicitly opted in to
receive messages from your organization. We maintain opt-in and opt-out records on your
behalf. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP, after which no further messages
will be sent to that number. Opt-out requests are processed immediately and automatically.

5. Information Storage & Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
• Encrypted data transmission using TLS/SSL
• Secure cloud storage with access controls
• Role-based access limiting data visibility to authorized users
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We
encourage you to use strong passwords and notify us immediately of any suspected
unauthorized access.
6. Data Retention
We retain your organizational data and contact records for as long as your account is active or
as needed to provide services. SMS message records and opt-in/opt-out logs are retained in
accordance with TCPA compliance requirements. Upon account termination, data may be
retained for a limited period for legal and compliance purposes before being securely deleted.
7. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your data or your contacts & data to third parties. We may share data with trusted
service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including:
• SMS carrier networks and messaging aggregators (for message delivery)
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
• Analytics and performance monitoring tools
All third-party providers are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of your data and
use it only for the purposes we specify.
8. Your Rights
As a ChurchGrids account holder, you have the right to:
• Access the data your organization has stored in the platform
• Request corrections to inaccurate data
• Export your contact records and data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential platform communications

9. Children & Privacy
The ChurchGrids App is intended for use by church staff and administrators who are 18 years of
age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you
believe information about a child under 13 has been submitted through the platform without
parental consent, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify account holders of material
changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the effective date. Continued
use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
